SecretHelper configuration

General

In 'General' you may set up the SecretHelper extension behavior.

DownloadHelper installation
This will inform you if your Video DownloadHelper has been installed or not. If not, a button will open the DownloadHelper installation page.
Open on startup
If checked, the secured volume will open when the browser starts.
Preferred drive
Preferred drive name for the secure volume.
Cleanup downloads on volume close
If checked, all entries in the Downloads dialog are removed when closing the SecretHelper drive. Cleanup recent documents on volume close.
Cleanup recent documents on volume close
If checked, when the secure volume will close, all entries in the Windows Recent Documents will be removed.

Appearance

Define what is displayed by the extension.

Show in status bar
If checked, a widget to control the extension will appear in the status bar.
Show in tools menu
If checked, the SecretHelper control menu will appear in the Tools browser menu.
Show in context menu
If checked, the SecretHelper control menu will appear in the browser context menu (the menu that appears when right-clicking in the page).
Password check dialog
By default, the volume password check dialog appears as a SecretHelper-explicit window. If you want to make this more discreet, you can uncheck Default Dialog and set your own title for the dialog.

Registration

Here you may register the extension or display registration data.

Registration code
Enter your registration code.
Get registration code
Open the Web page for getting a registration code.

Once registered, the panel will look like this:

Volume

Operation on the secure volume.

Repository
This is the file to be used as repository and containing your secure drive data. It is possible to see the full path (but obviously not the data) by moving the cursor inside the text box.
Depending on the state of your secure volume (opened, closed, installing, repository file existing or not), a number of operations can be performed:
Open volume
Opens the secure volume: assign a drive letter and make it available on Windows file system.
Close volume
Closes the secure volume. The volume won't be available until you reopen it.
Create new repository
Generates an empty repository to hold a new secure volume.
Use another repository
Use another repository for the current secure volume.
Resize volume
Change the size of the current secure volume.
Browse volume
Open an explorer window on the secure drive.
Change volume password
Change your secure volume password.
